More Than Just a Game
The Butiki League (U) Ltd is a seasonal social-fun based event founded by Old Boys of Kiira College Butiki (Buticians), blending football with heritage, unity, and joy. Since 2019, it’s grown into Uganda’s most spirited alumni league, with each match day celebrating connection, competition, and community.
Objectives of the league
- Mobilise and unite Old Boys of the school so as to encourage them to closely work with each other
- Strengthen KICOBA
- Create an opportunity for Old Boys of the School to meet different people so as to increase their social capital
- Form bonds and associations that can be productive and beneficial to the Old Boys, KICOBA and the School
- Rekindle memories of Old Boys while at the school
- Offer the Old Boys a platform to take part in the general development of the school
- Establish a link between the League and the school
- Establish projects geared towards developing the League and the school
